Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
A cream based garlic and parmesan sauce glazed al dente penne pasta and is complimented by a perfectly seasoned chicken breast. All you will need with this dish is a large chicken breast and a cup of half and half and in about 25 minutes you will be a gourmet chef!
Ingredients Needed:
1 large chicken breast
1 cup half and half
1 Tbs olive oil
Pinch of salt (optional)
Grated parmesan (optional)
Pairs well with a Chardonnay
Instructions: Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil to medium-high heat. Butterfly and cut chicken breast into two pieces. Coat both sides of chicken with the small seasoning pack. When skillet is hot, place chicken in skillet and cook approximately 7 minutes on each side. Once finished, cover with lid to retain heat. In a small sauce pan, add half and half and the white flavor pouch, stir well. Once stirred, turn heat to medium, stirring regularly until thick, approximately 4 minutes. Add pasta to the boiling water (add salt if desired). Pasta should boil 12 minutes, then remove from heat and pour into colander. Remove garlic parmesan sauce from heat and serve on top of pasta. Slice your chicken and place on top of pasta and cream, garnish with fresh grated parmesan, if desired.
